COVID-19: SoE? Ep. 23 TWAIL discourse in the context of the current crisis (Ntina Tzouvala)

The School of Law of the University of Nicosia, responding to our common duty of social solidarity and the overwhelming necessity for timely and reliable information of the general public, decided to launch a series of podcasts, titled COVID-19: SoE?, discussing the various social, political, legal, and economic aspects of the current crisis. Video podcasts will be uploaded to our YouTube Channel, while audio podcasts will be available through the first portal of integrated legal information in Cyprus, Dikaiosyni, via Spotify. You are invited to subscribe to our YouTube and Spotify channels to receive our latest news and updates.

In Ep. 23 of the series, the Research Associate of the School of Law and PhD cand. in international law at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Dimitrios Kourtis discusses with Dr Ntina Tzouvala, Senior Research Fellow at the ARC Laureate Program in International Law (University of Melbourne) and a founding member of the Editorial Collective of the TWAIL Review, about the contribution of critical international legal scholarship, and especially TWAIL (Third World Approaches to International Law) scholarship, in assessing, analysing, and theorising both the consequences of the current crisis and the imprint of the pandemic on international organisation and its building blocks, i.e. the various international actors.
