As part of the University’s outreach activities open to the public, the School of Law of UCLan Cyprus, in association with other Schools and Centres of UCLan Cyprus, will be delivering a series of professional trainings. Three professional trainings have already been planned as follows:

Training 3: Recent Developments in Data Protection Regulation – A Roundtable

This series aims to provide a practical understanding of the current legal issues raised by emerging technologies, and to identify realistic strategies to address those issues. Each of the three training sessions will be relevant to attorneys, compliance officers, data protection officers, risk management specialists, entrepreneurs, financial executives, negotiators, public servants, advanced students and all other people who need to be familiar with the subjects under discussion. Each session will examine the topic from Cypriot, European and American perspectives. Other events will follow.
