LLM module on EU Constitutional Law and Governance in populist times, The School of Law of UCLan Cyprus 🗓

The School of Law of UCLan Cyprus is pleased to announce a new LLM module on EU Constitutional Law and Governance in populist times. This is an exciting and timely module investigating populism, one of the primary threats to European stability, democracy, and the rule of law. As such, it is an incredible opportunity for students from all disciplines. The module not only analyses populism proliferates at the local, national, and regional level, deteriorating the rule of law and undermining democratic government, but also evaluates the mechanisms available to the EU to stymie the growth of right-wing populism.

Jean Monnet Module

This module takes place within the framework of the Jean Monnet Module entitled ‘European Union Law and Governance in Populist Times’. The JMM is funded by the European Union (Jean Monnet key action) and running at the School of Law of UCLan Cyprus (2019-2022) (EU-POP). For more information, visit https://eupopulism.eu/

This Module is designed for the continuous professional development (CPD) of young and other professionals in Cyprus and internationally. UCLan Cyprus, through its Law School, is an accredited provider of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programmes under the relevant Cyprus Bar Association scheme. With the generous support of EU-POP at UCLan Cyprus, a limited number of bursaries are available for professionals wishing to attend this module (meals are not included).
