As of April 2023, in his capacity as legal consultant, Leonidas Parparinos, J. contributes to the work of the Firm, drawing from his extensive experience and legal knowledge. In 2012, he was appointed Justice of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Cyprus, up until his retirement in 2022.
Between 2008 – 2010, he acted as President of the Cyprus Judges’ Association and took part in a large number of Judicial conferences in Cyprus and abroad. In 2009, he was appointed Administrative President of the District Court of Nicosia. He served as Administrative President of the District Court of Larnaca in 2008 – 2009 and also presided over the Assize Court of Paphos between 2003 – 2005. In 1997, he was promoted to Senior District Judge, followed by his appointment as President of the District Court in 2008. He has served in every District Court and Assize Court of Cyprus.
He was called to the Bar of the Republic of Cyprus in 1982, practising as a lawyer until 1988 – 1989, when he was appointed as District Judge. He graduated from the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 1978 and obtained his LL.M Postgraduate Degree from University College London (UCL) in 1981. He is fluent in Greek and English.
